Esteban Matias Cambiasso (born August 18, 1980 in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a professional football midfielder player currently playing for Internazionale in Serie A.
He started his professional career with the Argentine team Argentinos Juniors in 1995, but soon moved to Real Madrid in 1996 at the age of sixteen, playing in their youth program.
In 1998, he moved back to Argentina where he played for three years with Independiente and one with River Plate. During this time back in his home country he earned his nickname 'El Cuchu'. With some good experience under his belt, he moved back to Europe, once again to Real Madrid, in 2001, where he helped "Los Galacticos" win La Liga as well as the Intercontinental Cup in 2003, and the Spanish Super Cup in 2004.
However, in 2005, Cambiasso was signed by Inter Milan after his contract with Real Madrid expired in June of 2004. He helped Inter Milan win the Italian Cup his first season with the club, playing regularly as a defensive midfielder, partnered in the middle of Inter's midfield with Juan Sebasti�n Ver�n.
Cambiasso's career has skyrocketed since signing for Inter Milan. A regular bench warmer with Real Madrid, he joined Inter and quickly became known has one of the standouts of the 04/05 season, along with AC Milan's Kaka'. He is also a part of the Argentine national side - something that was not happening during his Madrid days. At a young age, coach Mancini and Inter owner Moratti.
