Eric speaks Russian fluently. He was a Broadcast Journalism major and a Russian minor. He moved to Moscow, Russia one month after finishing college in 1993. Eric worked as a Broadcast Journalist (assignment editor, field producer, writer etc) for nearly 10 years, several of them in Moscow, Russia for ABC News. After that he worked for NECN, a 24 hour New England news channel outside of Boston. Eric helped create necn.com, the first high-bandwidth streaming video news website in the United States, starting in 1997.
