So then I started booking commercials.” Her first film role arrived in 1997, when she was cast as Lisa in the 1972-set drama Academy Boyz, helmed and written by Dennis Cooper.
After a guest role in a 2001 episode of television series “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” Daniella made her next big screen outing with an uncredited part in the Martin Lawrence vehicle Black Knight (2001), and appeared as Maddi Donlou in an episode of the 1990 series “Law & Order” (2003). She also starred opposite Sarita Choudhury and Ryan Donowho in the drama film Rhythm of the Saints (2003), playing a 15-year-old girl intimidated by her stepfather.
A year later, Daniella booked her first regular role on the CBS long-running daytime soap “As the World Turns,” portraying Pilar Domingo #2. However, the young actress did not come to prominence until she was cast as the homosexual/bi-sexual Anna Taggoro on The WB network’s successful serial “One Tree Hill,” starring Sophia Bush. She remained with the show from October 2004 to April 2005.
Recently, Daniella made guest appearance as Jenny Rodriguez in “Cool Hunter,” a 2006 episode of CBS’s series “CSI: NY.” Moreover, she acted in The Last Romantic (2006), an eccentric comedy from the Brothers Nee, appeared along side singer Ciara, and Faizon Love in the sport-themed All You’ve Got (2006), as well as portrayed Posie in the hip hop horror anthology Snoop Dogg’s Hood of Horror (2006) for director Stacy Title.
