Daisy de la Hoya was born in California and raised in Denver. An aspiring actress and singer, she began her career in 2003, when she played bass for a band named Seraphim Shock, with whom she toured the country.
Describing herself as a passionate person, Daisy believes in fate, and is determined to follow her dreams and overcome even the worst situations just to get there. She said, "I live for music, art and acting and hope to inspire people through my work and life story the way my heroes inspired me." The niece of the champion boxer, Oscar de la Hoya, Daisy was featured in Daisy Rock's Annual Guitar Catalog in 2005. She also gained popularity through appearances in German and European magazines. She aspires to break away from the norm and create her own pop culture. Daisy's interests include music, movies, romance, art, fashion and people. She enjoys reading and writing journals, traveling and dancing. Daisy became known as one of 20 hopefuls in VH1's reality dating series, Rock of Love 2, where she competed for the heart of rock star Bret Michaels. Daisy was in the final two, but in the season finale, Bret Michaels chose Ambre over Daisy. While Daisy was a good party girl, Bret still had too many concerns stemming from Daisy's relationship with her ex-boyfriend Charles, whom she still lives with.
She was soon offered the chance to star in her own reality TV series called Daisy of Love, where guys vied for her affections until one of them was left standing. After weeks of spending time with the men and deliberating, Daisy finally chose the contestant London. They stayed together for a while but split up soon after.
