Cameron Monaghan is an American actor. He first appeared as Winthrop Paroo in the 2003 television movie The Music Man. In 2006, he appeared opposite Adam Sandler in Click as Kevin O'Doyle. He made a few guest appearances on Malcolm in the Middle as Dewey's classmate Chad. He has also had performances on: Numb3rs, The Mentalist, Monk, Three Rivers, The Glades, NCIS, Rizzoli & Isles, Terriers, Fringe, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and the film Prom.

In Summer 2010, Monaghan joined the main cast of the Showtime pilot Shameless, portraying Ian Gallagher. The project ultimately went to series, with season one premiering January 9, 2011. After a successful freshman season, the show was renewed for a second season, which premiered January 8, 2012. Monaghan remains a series regular. He has received critical acclaim for his performance.
