Bibi has 4 brothers, she is the only girl, and grew up in Tabasco, Mexico. One day after her entire family moved to Mexico city, she went to audition for the group Timbiriche, out of a 100 auditioners she got the job, and performed with Timbiriche from 1989 to 1992. She was also part of the group Munecos De Papel which only lasted 3 months. After appearing in three popular soap operas from 1991 and 1994 she turned in Mexico's Sex Symbol and proved it with her own calendar, which was a huge hit. In 1994 she married actor/singer Eduardo Capetillo. Currently they are still married and have 3 children.
