Bianca Nicholas, having always wanted to perform, began acting at the tender age of 5 years old when she took the lead role in a Cannes Film Festival Award Winning short titled “Is It The Design On The Wrapper?” she continued acting professionally until her mid-teens having taken part in various adverts, documentaries and films one of which was “Sleepy Hollow” with Johnny Depp.
She then decided to take a break from acting to concentrate on her love for Music. Bianca suffers from Cystic Fibrosis a condition that affects all the organs of the body, especially the lungs and her breathing. At the age of 15 she applied to the charity Starlight Children‘s Foundation to be granted a wish. Bianca was taken to a top recording studio in London where she had her very first taste of what it would be like to be a real recording artist - and absolutely loved it! Since making her wish Bianca has sang at many high profile events for both the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Starlight including a duet with Pop Idol Will Young at the Starlight Ball in front of a celebrity audience, and performing for HRHs Princes William and Harry, and the Duchess of Cambridge.
In 2011 Jon Diamond, who produced a television series about the charity, offered to help manage Bianca, introducing her to producer and song writer Bill Gautier. On the 1st of October 2011 Bianca is delighted to be releasing her first single “Hold On To Your Dreams” a ballad with lyrics very close to her heart, which she hopes, will perhaps lead to her ultimate dream and wish of being a successful recording artist come true!
