he youngest of three sisters, Bonner's family moved around alot when she was growing up. Because her father was the commander and conductor of the United States Air Foce Band she grew up going to hundreds of concerts, and her passion for music grew. "When I saw that you could sing AND act on stage, I knew that's what I wanted to do." When it came time to choose a college, BethAnn went with Boston's art-friendly Emerson. "I went for musical theater," she says, "but quickly discovered that I just wanted to be an acting major." After graduation, she did some professional work in Boston, but felt like she needed to make the transition and move to L.A. Things started happening and she was booked on the show "I Wanna Be A SoapStar." She didn't win the contest, but definitely came out the big winner in the long run, landing this 4-year contract on One Life To Live. Talia is her new character, a half-Middle Eastern cop who was on the job in New York City during 9/11. "I love her.", the actress beams. "I think she's got the right amount of toughness and has a lot of mystery in her past. ... I like the fact that she has a lot of insecurities but tries to put up a front that she's in control." The OLTL fans seem to love her equally as much. Let's hope to see a whole lot more of Talia as that role expands.
