Amari Cheatom is currently a resident of Los Angeles CA. His most recent work to date is in Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained which began production recently. While In Los Angeles Amari has booked guest star roles on tv show such as Chase, Detroit 187, Georgetown and Numbers.
Prior to moving to Los Angeles, Amari began making strides as a New York actor appearing In houses such as The Public Theatre (The Book of Grace), The Signature Theatre (Zooman and The Sign) and the New Federal theatre.
Amari has also made appearances in the indie film world. His first feature length film was Night Catches Us starring Kerry Washington and Anthony Mackie and directed by Tanya Hamilton. He recently shot the full length feature film Knucklehead, starring Gbenga Akinnagbe.
