Alexis Peters is an American actress. She graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood in 2004. Some roles include "Susie Friend" in Wendy Wasserstein's Uncommon Women and Others, "Mandy", in Patricia Burke Brogan's Eclipsed, and "Anne" in James Sherman's Magic Time. On graduating from AADA, she joined the midsummer Shakespeare program at Oxford, accredited by the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and run in association with UCLA and Yale School of Drama where she joined productions of Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night, and The Taming of the Shrew.
Her first play post graduation was Michael Weller's, 2004 ADA award winning Moonchildren, where she played "Kathy". From there Alexis portrayed "Nellie" in a production of Tennessee William's Summer and Smoke. A little over a year after graduating, Alexis played "Ingrid", in Nick Lyon's adaptation of Grendel, which premiered on the SciFi channel. Other TV roles include several episodes of Days of Our Lives, and Faceless, a pilot for FOX. Alexis' latest films include Garry Marshall's Valentine's Day and Adam Green's Hatchet 2.
