Agata began her career as a child star in the former Soviet Union's version of The Mickey Mouse Club, the morning show, Budilnik (1987). She spent her childhood touring Europe performing as part of the famous children's dance troupe, Kalinka, and headlined the troupe's 1989 film, Kalinka (1989). As a teenager, she joined the theater, where her theatrical career culminated with a role on satirist Mikhail Jevanetsky's Political Cabaret, after which she moved to France and attended Sorbonne Uni .
